Vintage German Bevel Dial Protractor 12" Blade

Description

This is a used vintage 12” German bevel dial protractor.
The protractor is designated PEP made in Germany, but there is no information on the age or the company that manufactured the protractor.
I suspect it is very old and the manufacturer no longer exists.
I have taken pictures of the protractor taken apart from both sides so viewers can see the condition.
Numerical designations to the degree are etched and are very “light”.
I suspect the marking may have been “inked” at one time.
I purchased it used and for the 25 or so years I have owned and used it.
I needed good lighting to see the markings, although I believe the markings can be re-inked.
There are small areas of rust/stains and it certainly could use a good cleaning.
