Description
Strategy Rummy is a bluff and bet Rummy game for 2 to 4 players. The original description sheet says this is "a new and different type of rummy game that uses a special deck of cards. The object is to win the most chips by betting correctly and to go out first by playing 7 cards from your had to the mat area. The game is played on a vinyl sheet marked for special card arrangement." The instructions say to divide the chips equally among the number of players, so the fact that this game is missing some chips may not be much of an issue. Other small chips could be used in place of the missing ones as there is no apparent difference in value based on chip color. This set comes with the following:1 Deck of Cards (52 standard playing cards, 6 Wild" cards and 2 "reminder" cards)
36 White Chips (looks like there should be 40 based on the storage slot)
18 Red Chips (same as above, probably should be 40)
1 flocked plastic card & chip holder (no tears in the plastic)
1 Vinyl Mat
The box shows normal shelf wear consistent with use and age. The bottom of the box has a torn corner, and the lid has tape and crunch on one corner (see pictures 10 & 11). There are some spots on back of the vinyl playing sheet, although I did wipe it down (see pictures 6 & 7). The deck is still in original suit order and feels like it was never used, as the cards are very stiff. Please check out my other "Desperate Housewares" auctions. As with all my auctions, I will pack won auctions together where safely possible to save on shipping costs. Feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you.
