    Description

    ESTATE SALE FIND--This wooden score board measures 11 1/2" long x 3 3/4" wide x 1/2" thick.  It comes complete in its original carton, 10 scoring pegs, and "Directions and Advantages of Using the Lenz Bridge Score Board".  The board is in excellent condition and the carton shows normal shelf life.  The instruction pamphlet states "Patent Pending" which I believe to be applied for by  Glanson Company in the 1950's.  Sidney Lenz was a renowned contract bridge player and was a member of the "American Contract Bridge Hall Of Fame".  He was born in 1873 and died in 1960.  This is a very rare, hard- to- find item.
