Soapstone Cribbage Board w/ Pegs, Vintage, Rare, 10” x 3” x 1”

Description

Carved soapstone board, probably made in Asia, age unknown although it is mine and I have had it since the early 1970s.
This board was not used for play.  It has been safely packed in a box in a climate controlled, smoke free and pet free home for over 50 +/- years.
It is in excellent condition; there are no chips or cracks in the board, pegs, or lid.
The soapstone has beautiful browns and tans with a dragon motif carved into the top.
It measures 10” x 3" x 1” (top to bottom, including legs).  It has a lift-off cover in the center for storage of the pegs.
It has the original eight carved pegs.  They vary slightly in length but average 1/2”.  See photos.
The feet of the cribbage board are triangular in shape.
