ONE DOZEN MIXED BLOWN EGGSHELLS
Be ready for spring craft season with blown eggshells from my free-ranging backyard hens.
Why settle for cheap plastic eggs when you can have the real thing?
These eggshells are not mechanically blown. They have a small hole in each end through which the contents are blown. Then I rinse the eggs thoroughly and air dry them. Consequently the shells don't spoil or smell.
They'll last for years or until broken!
Your mixed dozen includes:

extra large brown eggs from Ron, Luna and Bella, our Red Star, Rhode Island Red and Plymouth Barred Rock
extra large light green eggs from Ginny, our Ameraucana
jumbo whites (can't remember who to thank for these)
Blown eggshells are great for:
egg painting (thread a ribbon through them and hang on an Easter egg tree)
Pysanky or Ukrainian egg dying
Easter egg hunts
holiday wreaths
baby announcements (roll up a note and tuck it inside)

gender reveal
scavenger hunts (with the clues inside, the hunters have to crack the eggs for next steps!)
