First i'd recommend making sure your blade is square to the table. I'm a DIY'er and learned quite a bit watching the video on youtube. The second thing I'd recommend is make sure you cut the pieces in the exact same way (top or bottom side up). Obviously i'm not a pro at this, and I made a lot of mistakes but once you understand inside/outside cuts this angle finder sure does help. I used it quite often when putting baseboard trim in the kitchen. We have a new stand alone corner cabinet and this created a different angles other than 45's. It's quite a simple tool, but I'd say a must if you're trying to figure this out on your own. Overall, I'm happy with this tool, I'd recommend it to my friends and I'd say it exceeded my expectations.
